The ‘Child at Risk Education Programme’ offers the opportunity to sponsor the education of a child or dependant relying on the care of one of Tikondane’s 84 volunteers (crew members). Our Community Centre also offers support to the children of crew members who attend government schools, which is a bit more expensive. We try to help our children to continue their educational career up to Grade 9 and even Grade 12 for the particularly bright ones.
